Type on any PDF, including ones without form fields

Plenty of PDFs are meant to be filled in by hand: printed application forms, invoices, worksheets and letters. Add Text lets you type straight onto them as if they had fields. Each text box can hold several lines, and you can move, resize or rotate it until it sits exactly on the line you need.

Text is written into the PDF as real, selectable text. English and other Latin-script languages use the standard PDF fonts, and Hindi and other characters are written with an embedded Noto font so they display correctly in any reader.

Tips for neat results

Zoom in before placing text on small form lines, and use the arrow keys to nudge a selected box one point at a time (hold Shift for ten). To type into a form that already has fillable fields, Fill PDF Form fills the real fields instead. To change words that are already printed on the page, use Edit PDF.
