A PDF that looks the same on every device
Word files can look different depending on the app, version and fonts on the reader's device. Converting to PDF fixes the layout, so your CV, letter or report looks exactly as intended wherever it is opened. Word to PDF uses LibreOffice on our server to lay out the document, including headers and footers, tables, images, page numbers and footnotes.
This is one of the few tools that has to upload your file, because browsers can't lay out Word documents. Uploads are checked, converted in an isolated folder, and deleted as soon as you have downloaded the PDF. Anything left behind is removed automatically within 15 minutes. Files are never kept, shared or used for anything else.
